Piranha 3D is a remake of the 1978 film Piranha, which was directed by Joe Dante. The film was made to cash in on the success of Jaws. Joking aside, it boasts an impressive cast, including Jaws star Richard Dreyfuss, Elisabeth Shue (The Karate Kid, Leaving Las Vegas, Hollow Man), Jerry O'Connell (Jerry Maguire), Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible I, II and III, Dawn of the Dead), and Kelly Brook (The Italian Job). It is being directed by Alexandre Aja (Mirrors, The Hills Have Eyes) for Dimension Films and is scheduled for release in 2010....
